Ignore any "direct download" links from forum pages that are older than 6 months. They are dead.
If your Adobe Acrobat DC OCR Fix.exe is tiny, it's just a broken link file. Find a full repack (~1.5GB total) and pull the real OCR tool from inside it.

If you have a file named Adobe Acrobat DC OCR Fix.exe that is less than 500KB – delete it immediately. That is not the real program. It's a stub/linker. The real OCR fix should be ~15MB–50MB. Adobe Acrobat Dc Ocr Fix.exe --39-LINK--39-
