One repository I tested (in a sandbox environment) contained an executable disguised as a keygen. It triggered multiple antivirus alerts for and InfoStealer . Another repo had nothing but a text file full of expired or fake keys, and a README pushing survey scams.
I came across several GitHub repositories promising "AnyDesk license key generators" or "premium key lists." Let me save you the trouble:
Worse, some of these projects use GitHub’s infrastructure to host malicious code, hoping users will blindly run scripts or download cracked installers. GitHub is not a software piracy platform – it’s a code collaboration tool. Any legitimate AnyDesk license must be purchased directly from the official website or an authorized reseller.
Avoid at all costs. You’ll either waste time, infect your system, or get banned from AnyDesk’s servers. If you need AnyDesk, use the free version for personal use or pay for a business license. Don’t risk your security for a fake key.
