Juliet Stevenson deserved a BAFTA nomination for this. As the witch-queen of Atlantis, she chews every piece of scenery with Shakespearean menace. The Complete Pack allows you to binge her arc from "scheming royal" to "genuine Lovecraftian horror." Her transformation in the final three episodes is the best special effect on the show. This is the peak of the entire series. The tragic transformation of Korinna into Medusa is heartbreaking, mature, and surprisingly violent for a family show. The pack’s "Behind the Magic" featurette explains how they achieved the snake-hair effect, and it is worth the price of admission alone.
