The short answer: You cannot directly rename .tibx to .iso . The correct method: Restore the TIBX backup to a virtual drive or USB, then create an ISO from those files.

TIBX is Acronis’s proprietary backup format (often compressed, incremental, or encrypted). ISO is a raw disk image format. Direct conversion isn’t supported, but here are depending on your goal. Method 1: Convert a Bootable System Backup to ISO (UEFI/Legacy) If your TIBX contains a full Windows/Linux installation (disk/partition backup):
