Sabrina Spellman is in her bedroom at the Academy of Unseen Arts, practicing a containment spell. Her familiar, Salem (voiced with dry wit), watches from a pile of velvet cushions. “Then you should know—they’re not testing your spells

Lyra refuses. The mirror trembles. A clawed hand reaches through the largest shard and closes around her throat. She screams—and the screen cuts to black.

“The Court forgets: mortal blood is not impurity. It is the soil from which magic grows. Without it, you are only hunger.”

“You just failed the test and passed it at the same time. That’s either genius or suicidal.” “To rule in the Dark, you must first bury the light

“You’ve turned your pillow into a brick of lead three times now. If that’s your idea of magic, I’d hate to see your study habits.”

She looks into her hand mirror. For a moment, her reflection wavers—showing not just her, but Diana, Lyra, Felix, and every witch who ever chose love over power.
