It’s not if , but when . I’d bet we see an announcement by late 2026 or 2027, probably as a lead-up to a new Greek-era spin-off or prequel.
Sony might be saving a full Greek Saga Remastered collection for a console dry spell. But if they release them separately, GoW 2 is the fan-favorite—Colossus of Rhodes, Icarus wings, time travel, the Blade of Olympus. It’s the Empire Strikes Back of the series.
God of War (2018) sold over 2.5 million copies on PC within months. Sony knows the audience is hungry—not just for new games, but for the full Kratos origin story.
