GN Otometrics (a part of the Natus Medical Group) manufactures a range of devices including the Madsen , ICS , and Aurical product lines. Many of these systems rely on a proprietary programming interface known as Hi-Pro (High-Performance Programmer). Originally designed as a standalone box for programming hearing aids, the Hi-Pro evolved into a universal programming and interface unit. With the transition from legacy serial (RS-232) ports to modern USB connectivity, the Hi-Pro USB Driver became an essential software component for system stability and device recognition.
