Abstract In an era of globalized supply chains and increasing demands for data privacy, traditional centralized identification systems face challenges related to interoperability, security, and user control. IDcode Pro emerges as an enhanced, professional-grade implementation of the IDcode standard. This paper examines the architecture, core features, and applications of IDcode Pro, focusing on its decentralized approach to digital identity, asset tracking, and verifiable credentials. We argue that IDcode Pro offers a scalable, privacy-preserving alternative to proprietary systems, particularly for manufacturing, logistics, and anti-counterfeiting. 1. Introduction The IDcode (also known as the International Distributed Code) is a standardized, open digital ID system designed to uniquely identify any entity—person, product, location, or asset—across different platforms. IDcode Pro is the advanced commercial and industrial tier of this system, integrating decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs) with existing GS1 standards and QR code technology.
