This is a of the Jujutsu Kaisen story, covering the manga from beginning to end (chapters 1–271). The story is divided into major arcs. Part 1: The Beginning of the End Cursed World Introduction In a world where negative human emotions (fear, grief, anger) create monstrous spirits called Curses , only sorcerers who manipulate Cursed Energy can exorcise them. The most powerful cursed object is Ryomen Sukuna’s fingers — the 20 indestructible mummified fingers of the King of Curses from 1,000 years ago.
– It’s revealed Nobara wasn’t dead but in a coma. She wakes up in the final hour and uses her Resonance technique on the last Sukuna finger — dealing massive soul damage.
Gojo’s domain breaks repeatedly. He heals his burnt-out Cursed Technique faster than anyone. At the climax, Gojo lands a full-power Hollow Purple that destroys half of Sukuna’s body. But Sukuna, using a binding vow to trade his extra life for a one-shot technique, fires a space-cleaving slash that cuts Gojo in half at the waist.
Higuruma uses Confiscation (a law-based technique) to try to take Sukuna’s Cursed Tool (Kamutoke). It fails. Higuruma dies. - jujutsu kaisen
Yuta uses his Copy technique and his domain, Authentic Mutual Love . He surprises Sukuna by copying Gojo’s Limitless — but only for three minutes. Sukuna defeats Yuta by cutting him down. Yuta survives but is out of the fight.
Yuji meets (a stoic, exhausted former salaryman turned sorcerer) who becomes his mentor. Together, they fight Mahito but fail to kill him.
This tragedy shapes Gojo into the lonely, strongest protector of Jujutsu High. The Curses’ Plan : On October 31, in Shibuya’s busiest crossing, Kenjaku and the Disaster Curses (Jogo, Hanami, Dagon, Mahito) trap civilians inside a barrier to force Gojo to fight without casualties. Yuji now fights with a new ability — Soul Punching (he can target the boundary between Sukuna and Megumi’s souls). He weakens Sukuna’s control.

After Riko’s death, Geto becomes disillusioned with protecting weak humans who create Curses. He goes rogue, murders over 100 villagers, and declares he will create a world of only sorcerers. Gojo tries to stop him but cannot kill his best friend — they part ways. A year later, Gojo kills Geto.
– Yuji’s punches and Nobara’s Resonance free Megumi’s soul. Megumi, barely alive, summons his remaining shadows to help Yuji. The Final Blow Yuji, with Megumi’s help and all the sorcerers’ combined efforts, lands a final Black Flash on Sukuna. Sukuna’s control shatters. In his last moments, Sukuna sees a vision of Uraume (his loyal servant) and asks, “What is love?” — a twisted echo of Yuji’s grandfather’s words.
