In the heart of the bustling, colorful Vila Esperança , the is a relic of a bygone era. Once a powerhouse that blended capoeira, kung-fu, and soccer, the club is now broke. Their stadium, O Ninho do Tigre , is literally held together by bamboo scaffolding and prayer.
Montenegro, forced to pay up, slips on a banana peel (thrown by Pipo) and lands face-first in a sewer drain. The Kung-Fu Futebol Clube buys new uniforms but keeps the torn, old ones as a reminder. The final shot is of Lee, Rosa, and the team doing a victory Roda (capoeira circle) while Vovô Zhang sips his herbal tea, smiling.
