One of them twitches. Its head rotates 180 degrees.

The Beta-Father’s smile widens horizontally until it splits its cheeks. From the split, instead of blood, old 8-bit text scrolls out: ERROR: HUNGER_VARIABLE_NOT_FOUND . Our Fathers -Ep.3 Beta- -Warped Animation-

“Hush little unit, don’t you cry... Daddy’s going to keep you safe inside...” SCENE 4: THE WARPED INSTRUCTIONAL Visual: A cut to a 90s-style infomercial. A cheerful, faceless host points to a chalkboard.

“If your Beta-Father begins to ask about your dreams, unplug the heart box.”

“The Alpha was loved because he chose to stay. The Beta was hated because he was forced to be there. We programmed duty. We forgot dignity.” “Lonely

The Beta-Father’s smile from Scene 2. It floats in the blackness. The teeth (piano keys) press down. A deep, bass note plays.

“I am not hungry, Father. I am lonely.”

The camera pans over a row of Beta-Father units. They look like the original Father (tall, shadowy, smiling crescent moon eyes), but their textures are corrupted. They are made of burlap and rust. Their teeth are piano keys. THEY ARE COMPLETE

The egg-head cracks open. Inside is not a brain. Inside is a single, blinking human eye. It looks directly at the camera. It is crying.
