Three weeks later, the 4K disc released. Reviewers praised the “hauntingly precise” subtitles. Deaf viewers wrote blogs: “The subtitles added a layer. When Dolores’s ghost speaks, the captions go slightly italic. Not all players render it, but when they do—chills.” In the theatrical subtitles, the line was neutral
