FIXED: “Steam API not initialized” error in UMvC3 (No online/No lobbies)

Hey everyone, I spent three hours fighting the error in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 today. The game launches, but online mode is dead — you can’t see lobbies, can’t invite friends, and the game acts like you’re offline. steam api is not initialized marvel vs capcom 3
