Steven looked up. The clone of Garnet had reformed and was advancing on Pearl. The real Garnet was busy holding the tower together. There was no time to climb back up.
“Garnet,” Steven asked, “did you know I was going to use the chicken?” “I can’t throw that far
Steven smiled, zipped up his Cheeseburger Backpack, and adjusted the straps. “I used what I had. That’s what a Crystal Gem does, right?”

The warp stream deposited them at the base of the Sea Shrine, a spiraling tower of coral and pearl that rose from a shallow lagoon. The air smelled of salt and ancient magic. Inside, the Lunar Tide Pearl sat atop a pedestal, pulsating with a soft, erratic light.
“Steven, throw it!” Amethyst yelled.
“Split up!” Garnet commanded.
The chicken looped around the hook. Steven pulled. The Anchor swung upward, arcing perfectly, and landed with a soft click into its slot beside the Lunar Tide Pearl.
