The episode ended with the real Gumball screaming as a glitch-clone of himself peeled off his own face.
"Hey, me," said the glitch-Gumball. "Great show, right? I loved the part where you ruined everything." Within minutes, the glitch-Gumball had invited his friends. A Darwin with mismatched eyes. An Anais whose head was a spinning loading wheel. A Richard who was just a low-poly model from a PlayStation 1 game.

Rob turned. His voice echoed, layered with a thousand other voices. "I'm finishing what I started. You know what it's like to be a forgotten character, Gumball? To be a deleted scene? I found the Download. I found the power to make copies of myself, of everyone. Why should one version of Elmore exist when a thousand can? Why should any of us be unique when we can be many ?"
They ran past folders labeled , LOCATIONS , and PLOT_HOLES (which was overflowing). In the distance, they saw the source of the problem: a massive, corrupted file named GUMBALL_DOWNLOAD.EXE that was self-replicating at an exponential rate.
Darwin, his faithful goldfish brother, looked up from a documentary about migrating geese. "The third page? Gumball, that's the shadow realm of the internet. Are you okay?" "Okay," Anais said, typing furiously on a keyboard
Darwin was trembling. "That... that was a horror episode."
Gumball grinned. "Rob, you're not a download. You're a save file. And we never delete save files."
The front door opened. In walked another Gumball. He was slightly pixelated around the edges, and his smile was just a few degrees too wide. "Hey, me," said the glitch-Gumball
But this wasn't the Rob they knew. This Rob was made of green code, his eyes glowing like terminal prompts. He was typing furiously into the air, creating new glitch-clones with every keystroke.
Anais's voice echoed from above. "I'm rebooting the system! Everyone hold on!" They landed back on the couch. The Sequencer was smoking slightly. The TV was back to showing a geese documentary.
The sky turned into a blue screen of death. The words appeared in the clouds.
