The Cheetah Girl 1 Qartulad Apr 2026
Preserving The Cheetah Girl 1 Qartulad is part of a larger movement to document Georgia’s late-Soviet and early-independence era media history. It represents a time when local dubbing was still experimental, often relying on passionate voice actors rather than star names. For fans, hearing Galleria, Chanel, Dorinda, and Aqua speak Georgian is a direct link to childhood—proof that even a quintessentially American story about girl power can feel like home.
If you remember watching the scene where Galleria yells “Es chveni momenti-a!” (“This is our moment!”) in Georgian, you’re part of a small but devoted generation. Efforts are underway among Georgian Disney fans to locate a full, clean recording of the dub—until then, the Cheetah Girls live on in memory, bootleg DVDs, and the occasional grainy TV rip. For Georgian teens and preteens in the mid-2000s, The Cheetah Girl 1 Qartulad was more than a movie—it was a rare example of Western teen media tailored to their language. The film’s themes of loyalty, self-expression, and ambition resonated in a post-Soviet society increasingly embracing pop culture. Local fan clubs on forums like Forum.ge and later Facebook groups discussed favorite dubbed lines and compared them to the original English. The film also inspired school dance covers of the Cheetah Girls’ choreography, with Georgian girls recreating the group’s signature colorful outfits. Preserving The Cheetah Girl 1 Qartulad is part
Overview The Cheetah Girl 1 Qartulad refers to the Georgian-language dubbing of Disney Channel’s 2003 original movie The Cheetah Girls . The film, based on Deborah Gregory’s book series, follows four teenage friends in New York City who form a pop group and navigate friendship, fame, and family while preparing for their first big talent showcase. In Georgia, the localized version became a nostalgic touchstone for 2000s kids who grew up watching Disney Channel through Georgian cable providers or dubbed broadcasts on channels such as Rustavi 2 or Maestro TV . The original Georgian dub is now considered lost media by many local fans. Official streaming platforms (Disney+, Imedi TV’s archive) do not currently host the Georgian audio track. However, low-quality fan recordings from TV airings occasionally surface on YouTube or Georgian social media groups dedicated to “old dubs.” In 2021, a popular Georgian TikTok user sparked renewed interest by posting a clip of the dubbed “Cheetah Sisters” song, leading to calls for Disney to release multilingual versions of their classics.
Unlike modern high-budget dubs, the early–mid 2000s Georgian adaptation was often produced with a small team of local voice actors, translators, and sound engineers. The translation aimed to preserve the original’s youthful energy while adapting culturally specific references (e.g., “Manhattan” was kept, but slang like “fierce” was rendered into natural Georgian expressions). Songs like “Cinderella” and “Girl Power” were either translated lyrically or kept in English with Georgian subtitles, depending on the version.

Grazie mille!

Posted at 09:31h, 19 MarzoCiao Margherita.

Posted at 10:36h, 29 AprileMa come funziona con l’IVA?
