Given that Wintal is a brand known for budget-friendly, no-frills digital TV recorders (popular in Australia/UK markets during the early 2010s), this post is written from a retro-tech / archival perspective. In the golden era of digital TV transition (roughly 2008–2014), set-top boxes were everywhere.
